Professional seminar on Sustainability transition

Implementing the Sustainable Transition: Agenda 2030, the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the European Green Agreement

In collaboration with the International Network of Solutions for the Sustainable Development of the United Nations (www.unsdsn.org ), the Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the Athens University of Economics and Business (https://www.aueb.gr/ ) Prof. Koundouri, as the Scientific Coordinator,  is running a Professional training course on “Implementing the Sustainable Transition: Agenda 2030, the Paris Agreement on Climate Change and the European Green Agreement”.

The total duration of the program is 51 hours. The seminar focuses on the six pillars of sustainable transition (roadmap2050.report): 1. Education, gender, inequality 2. Health, well-being and demographics 3. Energy degeneration and sustainable industry 4. Living on land, living on water, fighting poverty and hunger and sustainable development 5. Sustainable cities and communities 6. Digital revolution and sustainable development; Which are governed by the two basic principles: A. The "leaving no one behind" strategy ; B. The circular economy.

Legal Aspects of Environmental Sustainability. Public and Private Investments 14. Legal Framework of the European Union and Sustainable Development 15. Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development.

The seminar is addressed to executives from the private and public sectors and to young scientists and researchers.
