DMST Distinction in Startups d.Day

Department of Management Science and Technology (DMST) congratulates isMood, Shopmind and Nimbata, and in particular their founders, graduates and students of the Department, who were awarded the three first prizes in the Startups d.Day competition, within the framework of the digital economy forum 2018, organized by the Federation of the Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises (SEPE).

Startups d.Day contest, which is open to start-ups that exploit digital technology and create innovative products and solutions that appeal to the global market, 20 companies participated, and isMood, Shopmind and Nimbata were the highest rated in the categories Social media analytics services based on sentiment analysis, Retail customer analytics services based on shopping missions analysis και Digital marketing services based on call data.

The distinctions of A. Kassimati (co-founder of isMOOD and DMST graduate), A. Griva and V. Stavrou (ShopMind team and DMST Ph.D. candidates) and D. Pournarakis (co-founder of Nimbata and DMST Ph.D.) confirm the high level of DMST graduates and a common commitment to excellence.
