Academic Advisor

Within the Department of Management Science and Technology of AUEB, the institution of the Academic Advisor (Professor Advisor) is established to support students throughout their studies. Each student is assigned a faculty member who provides guidance on academic progress, course selection, and overall academic development. 

What is an Academic Advisor?

  • A faculty member (Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor) appointed for each student from the beginning of their studies.

  • Responsible for providing guidance and advice on academic and study-related matters.

Responsibilities of the Academic Advisor?

The Academic Advisor is responsible for informing, discussing, and advising students on:

  • The structure and curriculum of the program.

  • Participation in scientific seminars and laboratory courses to enhance academic performance and optimize examination results.

  • The content and detailed descriptions of elective courses.

  • Opportunities for professional development and available links to the labor market.

  • Any other issues that may arise during their postgraduate studies.

Students may obtain information about their assigned Academic Advisor from the program’s secretariat.
