Nikos Pahos is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management of TU Delft. He holds a PhD in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM) from the Athens University of Economics and Business. As part of his doctoral trajectory, Nikos explored the implementation of HRM practices and their effects on individual and team performance, under the influence of age diversity. During his doctoral studies, Nikolaos was awarded a scholarship funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) and the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI).

His current research interests focus on innovation and people management, with a particular focus on management practices and employee or team-level innovation and performance outcomes. Nikos has a quantitative methodological background and applies methodologies such as Structural Equation Modelling with multilevel data. Parts of his work have been published in international academic journals, including the Human Resource Development Quarterly and Work, Aging and Retirement among others. His work has been also presented in international conferences, such as the Academy of Management and the European Academy of Management conferences. Finally, Nikos teaches Innovation Management and Leadership and Technology Management to engineering students, at the bachelor’s and master’s level.
