Athens College Career Orientation Summer Program

From the 10th -14th of July, AE4RIA was very excited to host three secondary students of Athens College, at the Sustainable Development Unit of Athena Research and Innovation Centre (SDU Athena RC) and the Research Laboratory on Socioeconomic and Environmental Sustainability of the Athens University of Economics and Business (ReSEES AUEB). Each day the students had the opportunity to interactively learn about the exciting research and academic ecosystem that is directed by Prof Koundouri, right alongside her multi-disciplinary research team. The students learned about SDG quantification and acceleration, behavioral economics, and stakeholder engagement, all important practices in helping to implement the EU Green Deal and the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
