08-04-2024On April 8th, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri recognized with the award for balancing professional and personal life, especially in recognition of working mothers from her university, the Athens University of Economics and Business, during the Women’s Forum of AUEB celebration as part of the #ProjectEqualityAUEB campaign. Her mother, Chrysi Koundouri, received the award on her behalf due her absence from the country.

26-03-2024Prof. Koundouri joins the Advisory Science Panel for the Extreme Heat Resilience Alliance (EHRA) at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center. Over the next year, the Science Panel will guide the EHRA Leadership Team.

This edition will, for the first time, not only report on the current state of the hashtag#ocean, but detail the information, tools, and approaches that can be utilized by decision makers to ensure the hashtag#future sustainability, conservation, and restoration of our oceans.
