15th General Conference of TWAS: Symposium 1 on Advancing frontier STI for SDGs in developing countries

On the 2nd of November Prof. Koundouri gave a speech on “The Economic Case for a Sustainable Recovery from COVID-19: Co-Developing the Future Vision based on SDGs and the Climate Agreement” at the 15th General Conference of TWAS which took place in virtual format from 1-4 November 2021. The event was hosted by the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).

More specifically, she participated at the 15th General Conference of TWAS: “Symposium 1 on Advancing frontier STI for SDGs in developing countries” together with Prof. Carlos Nobre, Nobel Laureate and Earth System scientist (Brazil), Prof. Marcia McNutt, US-NAS President (USA), Dr. Ismane Elouafi, FAO Chief Scientist (Morocco). The convener of this symposium was Prof. Ismail Serageldin, Emeritus Librarian of Alexandria and Founding Director of the Library of Alexandria.
