Επίσκεψη στη Eurobank

On Friday, May 23rd, the Professional MSc in Digital Transformation conducted an educational visit to Eurobank’s facilities in Nea Ionia — a key sponsor of the program.

The visit began with a presentation on the Eurobank Group’s Transformation Program by Mr. Apostolos Tsolis and Mrs. Christina Anthoulaki from the Group Transformation team. In the same session, Mr. Andreas Marneris, Head of Cards Business, shared insights into the sector's dynamics and innovations in cards and loyalty programs, offering a comprehensive view of the bank’s digital transformation in practice.

Following this, Ms. Olga Xaralabidis, Head of Digital Solutions, presented the work and operations of Eurobank’s Digital Factory.

The visit concluded with a tour of the bank's facilities and a networking discussion over a light lunch.

Professor George Lekakos, Director of the MSc Program, noted: “Eurobank is not only a sponsor of the Professional MSc in Digital Transformation, but also a best-practice example of leveraging technology—both in its internal operations and in the services it offers to its clients. We were particularly interested to hear about the bank’s digital transformation strategy and how coordination across teams improved after relocating under one roof in the Nea Ionia facilities. Eurobank’s experience in areas closely aligned with our program provides our students with valuable insights from the real market.”

We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Panos Kardasis, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility & Special Projects, Group Marketing & Corporate Communications Division at Eurobank, for his coordination and continued support of the program.

This was a unique experience that significantly strengthened the connection between academia and the evolving needs of the business world.
