Focus 2030 Webinar: The European recovery and the SDGs: the case of Flanders
On the 1st of October Prof. Koundouri in her role as co-chair of SDSN Europe participated in the panel debate at the “Focus 2030 Webinar: The European recovery and the SDGs: the case of Flanders” organized by SDSN Belgium and CIFAL Flanders and supported by SDSN Europe.
She discussed on the SDGs as a framework for the European recovery, echoing some of the key messages of your recent SDG Action article.
The webinar discussed the alignment of the European recovery plans with the SDGs, with a specific outlook on the role of European regions. The webinar addressed the role that regions play in the implementation of the European Green Deal and the recovery plans, with Flanders serving as a central case study. The event was registered under the European Sustainable Development Week.
