EFROSYNI KOSTARA

Ms. Efrosyni Kostara is a philologist, PhD in Adult Education at the Hellenic Open University with specialization in teacher training and educational evaluation. He teaches Adult Education at the Hellenic Open University while at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education he teaches the course "Vulnerable Social Groups-Social Exclusion and Lifelong Learning". In the period 2020-2022, she has been assigned by the Institute of Educational Policy the preparation of the new Analytical Study Programs, the training of teachers and the writing of the New School Manuals for the Ancient Greek course in High School. It deals with the training of Secondary Education teachers in matters related to the teaching methodology with an emphasis on the cultivation of skills. At the same time, her research interests concern educational evaluation, the theory of transformative learning and its didactic utilization, as well as the teaching of ancient Greek tragedy to students, teachers and adult trainers. Since 2020, she is the Scientific Manager of the Short Study Program Integrated Teaching Methodology at the Hellenic Open University with an orientation, among others, in educational evaluation. She has presented her work with an emphasis on educational evaluation at international conferences while she has contributed chapters to four international collective volumes and is the editor of a collective volume published in 2021 by the international publishing house Routledge.
