ANTONOPOULOU KONSTANTINA, Department of International and European Economic Studies

Konstantina Antonopoulou has been a member of the scientific team of the AUEB Teacher Education Program since September 2020. She was born in Athens in 1996. She holds a degree in International and European Economic Studies (Athens University of Economics and Business) and she is a graduate of the Teacher Education Program (Athens University of Economics). Within the framework of the Program, she carried out an internship in teaching economic courses in public schools. At the same time, she continues her studies in the Postgraduate Program in International and European Economic Studies of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has published in the scientific journal "Xenophon" of the economic science. She has attended conferences on "Effective Public Administration", "Art and Education", "Energy Markets, European Union and Greece", "Greek Foreign Policy and National Defence Policy" and "Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship". She speaks English very well and Turkish well enough. From a young age she had lessons in modern piano, vocals and she also holds a degree in Harmony (School of Advanced Theory - Department of Harmony).

GKOUMA ANDRIANI, Department of Informatics

Andriani Gkouma is a graduate of the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business and is studying in the MSc in Information Systems Development and Security of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program and participates in the scientific team of the Program for the academic year 2020-2021. During her studies in the Program, she was a member of the teams whose work was distinguished after review by scientific committees ["Tribute AUEB: 100 Years of Assistance in Greek Economic Education", published in the Economic Scientific Journal "XENOFON", Issue 5, June 2020 & "Proposals for the utilization of the cultural reserve of Eleusis in the context of the Athenian trilogy: Cultural Routes RouteForYou"]. She speaks three foreign languages, English, French and German, and holds a license to teach English (certified by EOPPEP). She has participated in the Certification process of the Internal Quality Assurance System of the Athens University of Economics and Business [February 2019 / Head: Bourantonis Dimitrios, Vice Rector] and in the certification process of the Undergraduate Computer Science Studies Program of the Athens University of Economics and Business by the Authority for Quality Assurance & Certification in Higher Education [June 2019]. She has been involved in Digital Marketing and Web Analytics and has participated in business workshops. She holds a Digital Marketing Business Diploma.

DRAKOS NIKOLAOS, Department of Business Administration and Management

Nikolaos Drakos holds a degree from the Department of Business Administration and Management of the Athens University of Economics and Business, where he was admitted second in rank, and is a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. Within the framework of the Program, he carried out an internship in teaching economics courses and took part in pedagogical projects related to the principles of Célestin Freinet, entrepreneurship, and the design of innovative educational activities. Part of his studies took place at the BI Norwegian Business School through Erasmus+, and he also took part in an academic collaboration between AUEB and the Kelley School of Business. He currently works as a Finance Analyst at Moving Doors and as Local Director of Finance & Legal at AIESEC AUEB, with experience in Business Development, B2B Partnerships and Project Management. In 2025 he served as Project Director of InnACT, a youth entrepreneurship conference held in collaboration with AUEB that brought together more than 350 participants. Through his work in finance, entrepreneurship and education, he strives to make a meaningful impact on young people and the world.

KAPITSAKI IOANNA, Department of Economics

Ioanna Kapitsaki is an undergraduate student in the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. Alongside her academic studies, she has gained work experience in consulting and sales, as well as in organizing and managing archival material. In the field of education, she is actively engaged in providing systematic educational support to secondary school students.

KARATOSIOU ATHINA, Department of Management Science and Technology

Athina Karatosiou is a final-year student in the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business, with an academic focus on Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management, and a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program, having obtained Pedagogical and Teaching Competence. During her studies she took part in the award-winning Study Buddy project, playing an active role in its development, positioning and promotion. She has international experience, having coordinated a team in a multicultural environment in Belgium, as well as experience developing and coordinating innovative academic and digital projects. She has completed specialized training through SAP and Microsoft in contemporary fields of technology and artificial intelligence. Her interests focus on Human Resource Management, Learning & Development, educational innovation and digital transformation.

KATSIONIS CHRISTOS, Department of Accounting and Finance

Christos Katsionis is a graduating student of the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He works in the field of marketing and sales and is a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. He has shown intense volunteerism at the AUEB Foundation, being a member of the Organizing Committee of the 1st University Road Race - AUEB Run 2018, contributing in the areas of finding sponsorships and managing volunteers, while also being a member of the Organizing Committee of the AUEB Rhetorical Group for many years. He has also worked with the local committees of student associations such as AIESEC LC Athens and ESN Athens AUEB, helping fellow students find suitable internships abroad as well as helping incoming Erasmus students adapt to academic life at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He speaks two foreign languages, English and German, and in the past has been involved in radio production and journalism, being a member of the editorial team of the University's monthly newspaper "AUEB News". He was distinguished for his performance and contribution to the AUEB Teacher Education Program and has been a member of the Scientific Team since the academic year 2020-2021.

KONDEA ANNA, Department of International and European Economic Studies

Anna Kondea is a graduate of the Department of International and European Economic Studies of the Athens University of Economics and Business, with a specialization in "International Economics and Finance", having written a dissertation on "Globalization, Poverty and Income: Interrelated Factors?", and a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. She participates in the Scientific team of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. In 2016, she worked in a large insurance group, while during 2018-2019 she carried out, through the AUEB Teacher Education Program, attendance and teaching of the courses "Principles of Economic Theory", "Political Education" and "Modern World" in General and Vocational High Schools. In addition, from November 2019 to February 2020, she carried out a three-month internship at the Deposits and Loans Fund, specifically in the Local, Prefectural and Regional Government Loans Directorate, in the departments of (a) Loans to Local, Prefectural and Regional Authorities and (b) Business Loans for Local, Prefectural and Regional Authorities and Legal Entities. She then worked from May to August 2020 in the sales department of a private call center, and from October 2020 has worked as a special consultant in the Region of the Peloponnese. She holds certifications in English (Lower ECPE B2 Michigan), French (State Certificate of Language Proficiency, level B2, Athens University of Economics and Business) and Russian (level B1). She also holds certifications in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and in the econometric packages STATA and Eviews (2018), as well as experience with the accounting program HORIZONS and the programs SIEBEL and FRAME.

KONTOMOUS ELENI, Department of Informatics

Eleni Kontomous holds a degree in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, specializing in Software Systems, and is a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program at the same institution. Alongside the Pedagogical Competence Program, she also attended the Adult Education program of the Athens University of Economics and Business. In addition, she completed her internship as a QA Automation Engineer at Allwyn, while she currently works as an Informatics teacher, giving programming lessons (Python, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Web Design) at an international private tutoring center. She has an excellent command of English and strong technical skills in programming languages, software testing tools and web technologies.

NTZIOKA EVANGELIA, Department of Informatics

Evangelia Ntzioka is studying at the Department of Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and has taken courses at the Department of Informatics and Mathematics at Vilnius University in Lithuania through the Erasmus+ programme. She is a graduate of the Teachers Education Program at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), having served as a member of its academic team for the academic year 2026-2027. Alongside her academic career, she has shown a keen interest in research and intercultural education. In this context, she has been actively involved in voluntary and administrative work within international student organisations, taking on key roles at Erasmus Student Network Greece (ESN Athens AUEB), where she was actively involved in project management, team coordination, member training and intercultural communication. She is constantly seeking opportunities for professional development, having taken part in numerous training seminars and workshops in Greece and internationally. These include the Archimedes Workshop on Algorithmic Game Theory, which took place in July 2025 at our University, as well as international programmes in countries such as Portugal and France, focusing on gender equality, empowerment and personal development.

OIKONOMOU ANASTASIOS, Department of Informatics

Anastasios Oikonomou is a graduate of the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program, and participates in the scientific team of the program for the academic year 2020-2021. At the same time, he is studying in the MSc in Information Systems Development and Security of the Athens University of Economics and Business. From September 2019 until today he works voluntarily at the Alimos Social Tutoring Center as a mathematics, physics and computer science teacher for high school students. From September to December 2018, he worked as a Database Developer and programmer at a consulting company. He also worked from January 2019 to January 2020 as Assistant System Administrator in the laboratories of the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business. In addition to his volunteer work at the Alimos Social Tutoring Center, he works as a computer science and mathematics teacher at large tutoring groups and private schools. He speaks two foreign languages, English and German, and has been distinguished in the Panhellenic Swimming Championship, taking third place, as well as holding many other distinctions in inter-club competitions. Finally, he was a member of a group of students of the AUEB Teacher Education Program who were distinguished and published, in the scientific journal Xenophon, an article titled "Tribute AUEB: 100 Years of Assistance in Greek Economic Education".

SKARPINAKIS ELEFTHERIOS, Department of Accounting and Finance

Eleftherios Skarpinakis was born in 2001 in Athens. He is a graduate of the Department of Accounting and Finance and a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. During his studies, he did his internship at the Econometric Forecasting Section of the Bank of Greece and taught economics courses in public schools. He has also attended the seminars: Career Paths (2022, 2023), ICAEW's Global Virtual Skills Conference (2021). He has participated in lifesaving and first aid seminars (2023) and an energy transition - climate change seminar (2023) organized by AUEB. In the summer season (June - September) he is employed in a family business (mini market). He knows English perfectly, is learning Spanish, and holds a computer proficiency certificate. He is an amateur editor of audio, image and video (Adobe Audition, Photoshop, Premiere). Since July 2024, he has been a member of the scientific team of the AUEB Teacher Education Program.

STATHOPOULOU FOTINI, Department of Economics

Fotini Stathopoulou is a graduate of the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, with a specialization in Economic Theory and Policy. She has worked as an Economic Researcher at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE), gaining experience in economic research and analysis. Her interest in education led her to complete the Educational Sciences and Education Studies Programme at the Athens University of Economics and Business. In October 2026, she will begin the “Preparatory Program for the Educational Proficiency Exams of EOPPEP for Adult Educators,” offered by the Center for Education and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of AUEB. With a strong commitment to lifelong learning and continuous personal and professional development, she aims to combine her background in economics with her training in education, while continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in the field of education.

TZIAKOS NIKOLAOS, Department of Economics

Nikolaos Tziakos is a graduate of the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business and currently works as an HR Systems Associate at PwC Greece. His professional journey began at PwC through the internship program in the HR Managed Services – HR Systems department, where he gained valuable experience in Human Resource Management Systems and in delivering services to clients. Since May 2026, he has joined the team as a full-time associate. He holds a strong academic background, further enhanced by a Certification in Pedagogical and Teaching Competence from AUEB. In parallel, he has invested in his technological development through a Power BI Certification and an IT Skills Certification from AUEB. Nikolaos is characterized by analytical thinking, consistency, and a strong orientation toward teamwork. He is fluent in English at a C2 level and actively participates in conferences in the fields of Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Energy, maintaining a continuous engagement with industry developments.

TOUMANIDOU ANDROMACHI, Department of Informatics

Andromachi Toumanidou has been involved with Web Development and with the education of minors and adults, mainly in IT skills. She now works as a Java Developer at a private information systems company. She graduated from the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a milestone in her life was the completion of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. She continues her involvement with the Program as a member of the research team and mentor to new prospective Informatics teachers. She has advanced studies in classical piano, and her research interests are limiting the negative effects of technological progress on human society, as well as the use of music and technology as accelerators of learning. She has a deep faith in humanity and in collective effort, while always drawing lessons from childlike innocence and the purity of animals.

VASILOPOULOU CHRISTINA, Department of Economics (2018-2021)

Christina Vasilopoulou is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business and of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. She holds a master's degree in Sociology from Panteion University, where she completed her dissertation on "Enclosed Animals and Biopolitical Power in the Attica Zoological Park". She works as a private teacher of Political Economy, Sociology and Business Administration. She also writes and translates articles, texts and research on the relationship between human and non-human animals (John Berger, Why Look at Animals, published by Kyanavgi, 2019 & Christina Vasilopoulou, The Donkeys of Santorini: Workers or Slaves, From beasts of burden to animal ambassadors, ed. C. Kline & J. Rickly, De Gruyter, 2021). She is a member of the Scientific Team of the AUEB Teacher Education Program.

DIMOS ALEXANDROS, Department of Informatics (2019-2023)

Alexandros Dimos is a graduate of the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business, a graduate of the AUEB Teacher Education Program and has completed the Minor study program in Finance at the American College of Greece. He has been working for the last two years as a teacher in a secondary school and as an analyst in a large banking group. He is a member of the Scientific team of the AUEB Teacher Education Program, having completed, in collaboration with Dr. Vasiliki Brinia and Mrs. Eleni Michopoulou, his first publication in the "International Journal of Management in Education".

THEODOROU FLORA, Department of Accounting and Finance (2021-2022)

Flora Theodorou holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and is a graduate of the Teacher Education Program at the same University. Within the framework of this Program, she did an internship as an economics teacher in public high schools. In addition, she was an intern at the Human Resources Department of the Bank of Greece. She works at the National Bank of Greece, while at the same time teaching economics to high school and university students. She also works in a Tourist Office during the summer season (April-October). She knows English very well, is now learning French, and holds a certificate of computer skills. She has engaged with Music from pre-school age (guitar, lute, theory, traditional dances). She has attended seminars in Digital Marketing, Human Resources Development, Innovative Methods of Teaching Economics, and workshops related to Tourism. Her research interests include Marketing and Communication issues, cultural heritage and tradition issues, the Human Resources sector, and the application of innovative methods in teaching economics. She fully believes in collective effort, which makes common visions real. That is why she participates as an active member in Cultural and Ecological Associations.

KASIOLA IRINI, Department of Economics (2023-2026)

Irini Kasiola is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business and of the Teacher Education Program of AUEB. Within the framework of the Teaching Program, she attended and carried out an internship in teaching the courses "Principles of Economics" and "Political Education" in public schools. She speaks English very well and Spanish well enough. She successfully completed the seminar of Adult Education of AUEB's KEDIVIM, while attending a seminar in Special Education of the University of the Aegean. She has attended scientific events on "Energy Transition - Climate Change: Salvation or Holocaust of the planet" and "Greek Industry: Truths & Myths", as well as the series of Lectures of the Seminar Jean Monnet 2023 entitled: "Issues of the Operation of the Greek, European and International Economy". From 2019 to 2022 she worked in sales and customer service at a vegetable and aromatic plant business. She has been a member of the scientific team of the Teacher Education Program of the Athens University of Economics and Business since September 2023.

PAPACHIOU MARIANDA, Department of Business Administration and Management (2019-2023)

Maria Antonia Papachiou has been involved in the field of education (teaching high school students) from 2015 until today and has worked voluntarily as a cashier in a local Association of Volunteers. Her studies include a degree from the Department of Business Administration and Management of the Athens University of Economics and Business and certification from the AUEB Teacher Education Program. Through the Program, she attended and taught "Principles of Economic Theory", "Modern World", "Principles of Economics" and "Elements of Commercial Law" in public General and Vocational High Schools. She has completed a seminar in Special Education. She also speaks English (Lower ECCE B2 Michigan) and French (DELF B1). She holds a certificate of computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), website construction skills (ACTA, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and a certificate of computer skills from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is part of the AUEB Teacher Education Program Scientific team.

SARAVANOU CHRISTINA, Department of Informatics (2010-2018)

Maria-Christina Saravanou holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an MSc in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She holds a certification in teaching and pedagogical competence from the AUEB Teacher Education Program. She has experience teaching in secondary education and adult education. She actively supported the establishment of the AUEB Teacher Education Program from 2010 to 2018 and was involved in research on learning methods in primary and secondary education as well as learning in adult education. Additionally, her research interests and publications focus on educational leadership and the management of educational units. She works as an IT expert in the Greek banking system.

PSONI EVITA, Department of International and European Economic Studies (2016-2021)

Evita Psoni graduated from the Department of International and European Economic Studies of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). She completed her studies in the AUEB Teacher Education Program as well as Postgraduate Studies in the MSM in Services Management of AUEB, with a direction in Communication, Public Relations, Advertising, graduating 1st in ranking. She obtained a specialization in Human Resource Management from Deree College, with a distinction scholarship from the "Stavros Niarchos" Foundation. She has completed Adult Education and Special Education seminars. She has long teaching experience with minors and adults and has set up a business offering education and career counseling services. She has also worked in the higher education sector, the banking sector, the telecommunications sector, the tourism sector, and the professional skills development sector. She has also been actively involved in educational research in recent years within the framework of the AUEB Teacher Education Program. She has published extensively in international journals and conferences on experiential teaching methods, education administration and team dynamics, among others. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Learning and Change (Inderscience publications). Currently, she works as an executive at the largest private, non-profit institution of Higher Education in Greece. Finally, she holds a degree in Harmony and is a final-year voice (soprano) student.
