GERASIMOS MAKRIS

Mr. Gerasimos Makris is a doctor-psychiatrist graduated from the Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences of the University of Crete. He holds a PhD in the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the Greek Academy of Sciences on the subject: "Psychophysiological Study of the Phenotype and Endophenotype of Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders". He holds a Master's Degree in "Interconnective Psychiatry: Separate Physical and Mental Health Care" from the Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, E.K.P.A. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society of Analytical Group & Family Psychotherapy (founder psychiatrist-psychoanalyst Mattheos Yosaphat). He has been systematically engaged on behalf of the Hellenic Society of Analytical Group & Family Psychotherapy (together with the doctor-psychiatrist and president of the society Mr. Pantelis Papadopoulos) with the training of teachers with "life lessons in schools" in collaboration with the Science Studies Program of Education and Training of the OPA. He has authored a large number of articles in the field of General and Evolutionary Psychology. In particular, his articles have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, while he has participated in national and international scientific conferences. His scientific interests focus on the field of evolutionary psychology and the cultivation of life skills in teachers in order to pass them on to their students.
