Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony of the MSc in Business Analytics – Athens University of Economics and Business

The Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony for the Full-Time Cohort (2024–2025) and the Part-Time Cohort (2023–2025) of the MSc in Business Analytics took place on Monday, 22 June 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Ceremonial Hall of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Professor Georgia Siougle, Vice Rector of AUEB, Professor Ioannis Nikolaou, Chair of the Department of Management Science and Technology, and Professor Damianos Chatziantoniou, Director of the MSc in Business Analytics. 

We were honored to welcome Mr. George Nasoulis, Group Chief Data Officer of Piraeus Bank, as our distinguished guest speaker. His presentation, titled "Talent and Responsibility in the Age of AI," explored the challenges and opportunities emerging in the era of Artificial Intelligence, with particular emphasis on the responsible development and application of AI.

During the ceremony, the Teaching Excellence Award was presented to Mr. Emmanouil Zachariadis in recognition of his outstanding teaching performance to both the full-time and part-time programmes during the 2024–2025 academic year, particularly through the core course "Large-Scale Optimization."
