Completion of the innovative action "Education, Entrepreneurship and Culture" for the academic year 2022-2023 between the Study Program in the Sciences of Education and Education of the OPA, the Association "Diazoma" and the collaborating bodies

Towards the end of the spring semester of the academic year 2022-2023, an important moment for the completion of the innovative actions of this academic year was the meeting of the Scientific Committee to evaluate the group work of the students who took part in the innovative action " Education, Entrepreneurship and Culture", which is being successfully implemented for the fifth consecutive academic year by the Education and Training Sciences Program of the Athens University of Economics and Business, the "Diazoma" Association, the OPA Innovation & Entrepreneurship Unit (AceIn) and the economic educational magazine "Xenophon".

The meeting of the Scientific Committee took place on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in the garden of the Numismatic Museum on Panepistimi Street under the coordination of the Scientific Manager and Teacher of the Program Dr. Vasiliki Brinia, while on behalf of the collaborating organizations the following participated: Dr. Mary Belogianni, in charge of the educational programs of the "Diazoma" Association, Mrs. Georgia Manolopoulou, MSc Ph. Dc Museologist - member of the Board of Directors of the "Diazoma" Association, and Mr. Georgios Tziros, economist-educator, representative of the economic educational magazine "Xenophon".

The topic that the students were asked to investigate in the context of their group work was: "Proposals for the utilization of the cultural stock of Lavrio in the context of the Athenian trilogy". In the context of the innovative action throughout the spring semester, the students:

a/ they attended on 3/31/2023 the speeches by special partners of Diazoma, such as: Mrs. Betty Hatzinikolaou, lawyer, former president of EOT and expert in tourism matters, who spoke to them about cultural tourism and the necessary synergies, Mr. Thomas Greve, architect, urban planner and Nikos Smit, development consultant, who presented the Master Plan of the "Trilogy of Attica" and Mr. Christos Chiotis, visual communication designer, director of the Elegrad company and member of the D-Hub of Diazomos, which he presented

b/ they were informed about the "Green Map of Diazoma", a holistic guide for the cities, through the presentation of the architect-engineer Mr. Elinas Angelis for both institutions, the Business Cluster and the Destination Management and Marketing Agency (DMO ) through the guide compiled by D-Hub member and strategic planning manager for cultural, sports and educational projects Mr. Nikos Stakias

c/ participated in a series of educational activities

After the above and having continuous interaction with the scientific partners of the action, the prospective teachers presented a research result of a particularly high level. Out of a total of 10 group works, those evaluated with the highest score by the Action's Scientific Committee are in order:

The awarding and presentation of the 1st work that was distinguished on the subject of the utilization of the working settlement of Kyprianos will take place at an event of ANO DIAZOMA on a date to be announced by DIAZOMA, while the members of the Scientific Committee of the Action have renewed their appointment for the next academic year 2023-2024, during which the focus of the research of the new prospective teachers will once again be the cultural reserve of the city of Lavrio, which had experienced significant prosperity in the context of the Athenian trilogy.
