Nexus Project Cluster Workshop: Advancing the Nexus for Science and Policy
23 November 2021 | 09:00-17:30 CET
We are pleased to share with you the upcoming workshop of the Nexus Project Cluster, which is going to be held on Tuesday November 23. The title of the Workshop is 'Advancing the Nexus for Science and Policy'. During the workshop Several new projects funded from H2020 and PRIMA will present themselves and there will be a more forward-looking approach to identify emerging topics for research and policy. The workshop will of course also focus on how the cluster could support science and policy in the next years.
The Nexus Project Cluster is a group of independent research initiatives who team up for increased and more impacting communication and dissemination of the Nexus. The Nexus includes sectors like water, energy, food, land and climate, as well as important societal challenges like public health and rural-urban development. We also consider alignment with circular economy projects provided that they are linked to the concept of the Nexus. The Cluster started in 2018 and initially run until 2020.
Prof. Phoebe Koundouri and Prof. Chrysi Laspidou are members of the Steering Committee of the cluster. Learn more: https://nexuscluster.eu/Home.aspx
During the workshop the COST Action NexusNet will also be presented in which Prof. Chrysi Laspidou is the COST Action Chair and Prof. Koundouri will present the policy scenery and the science-driven pathways for the alignment of the SDGs, the EGD, the RRP and the European Semester Process.
