Regional Action on Climate Change (RACC13)

Prof. Koundouri gave a speech at the “Plenary Session 3: Converging Risks: Planetary  Health and Population Shifts” of the “Regional Action on Climate Change (RACC13) meeting | Confronting Risk Convergence – Building resilience to regional interactions of climate, biodiversity and public health risks” on Friday, 1st October. The meeting took place online as an important  adjunct meeting of the 18th Annual Meeting of STS forum.

The Regional Action on Climate Change (RACC) was established in 2009  and has been aiming at conceptually developing and facilitating the  development of local action to address the challenges of climate  change and sustainability, via so-called knowledge action networks  that communicate the best scientific knowledge to local communities,  and their various stakeholders and decision makers.
