Under the auspices of the Athens University of Economics and Business, the 21st Student Conference of DMST (FSDET) is being held on the theme "Modern Business and Work Environment: Skills and Challenges", on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at at the Eugenides Foundation (387 Andreas Syggrou Avenue, 17564 Athens).

With great anticipation, we await the honorary awarding of Professor Georgios Doukidis, one of the founders of the Department of Management Science and Technology, for his significant and long-standing contribution to both the Department and the FSDET.

At the Conference, greetings will be delivered by the President of the Department of Management Science and Technology, Professor Irini Voudouri, the Dean of the School of Business of AUEB, Professor Angeliki Poulymenakou, and Assistant Professor Dimitrios Zisis.

Keynote speaker of the conference will be Professor of the Department of Marketing and Communication and Director of the Postgraduate Program in Human Resources Management of AUEB, Maria Vakola, who will give a speech on the topic of "Multi-Generational Management".

The panel "Innovation and Digital Resilience: How Businesses are Sustainable in the Age of Technology" will follow, moderated by Professor of the Department, Ioannis Nikolaou, and participants include Mr. Gregory Agriopoulos, CEO & Founder at Haptikos, Maria Kechagia, Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration, NKUA, Dimitrios Mitropoulos, Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration, NKUA and Head of the Reliability Engineering Directorate at the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET).

The Fireside Chat "Data-Driven Decisions: Navigating Analytics, Privacy & Big Data in Modern Business", moderated by Mr. George Lekakos, Professor of the Department, will feature executives from Deloitte and Netcompany – Intrasoft.

The talk "Recommending the Right Academic Programs: An Interest Mining Approach" by Dr. Alessandro Hill, Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna and Visiting Professor at the Department is also eagerly awaited.

Also, students of all levels will present their papers and research work.

At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to take part in interesting workshops, such as "Future Skills: Shaping Careers in a Changing World" by Eurobank, as well as "A day in the life of a Business Analyst" by Netcompany – Intrasoft.

After the speeches and workshops, a Networking Event will be held.
