Course Description

The courses objective is the introduction to finance markets, emphasizing in the functioning of the markets and the decoding of information regarding the preferences of investors, the expectations concerning the progress of economic phenomena, the sufficiency of assessment models, securities etc. After giving the definition of financing and the examination of financing needs that lead to the creation of the markets in question, we describe the layout of a general model of assets pricing. We also examine the significance of information efficiency of security prices, which is connected with the information that the prices give us for the conditions during the pricing.
