Funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation
3rd Call for HFRI’s Research Projects to Support Faculty Members & Researchers

CSR-CUTL (Consumer Responses to CSR: Does Culture Matter?) is a 36-month research project funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI/ELIDEK). The project examines whether and how cultural differences shape the way consumers perceive and respond to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
By investigating how cultural values and social norms influence consumers’ moral evaluations, emotional responses, and support for socially responsible companies, CSR-CUTL aims to advance academic knowledge and offer practical guidance for designing more effective and culturally sensitive CSR strategies. The project contributes to research at the intersection of marketing, consumer behavior, corporate responsibility, and cross-cultural studies.
