Research Methods
CSR-CUTL employs a rigorous experimental research design to examine how cultural differences shape consumer responses to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The project includes a series of empirical studies conducted across culturally diverse contexts, using scenario-based experiments that present participants with realistic CSR initiatives and company-related information.
Before the main studies, the research team will conduct pretests to ensure that the experimental scenarios are clear, realistic, and effective. The data will be analyzed using multivariate analysis and conjoint analysis. Multivariate analysis will help identify the psychological mechanisms through which culture influences consumer responses to CSR. Conjoint analysis will examine how consumers make choices when different company characteristics and CSR practices are presented together, offering stronger evidence on which combinations are most effective across cultural contexts.
