Accreditation by Professional Organisations

The Program is accredited by the following prestigious, international and national Professional Organisations in the areas of Finance, Shipping, Accounting and Management.

This makes the M.Sc. in ISFM students and graduates eligible for special fees and exemptions from the exams of these Professional Organisations. 


A CFA-affiliated Program

The M.Sc. in ISFM participates in the CFA (Chartered Financial Analysts) University Affiliation Program. The Program embeds a significant portion of the CFA®Program Candidate Body of KnowledgeTM (CBOK) into its curriculum and is officially listed among top educational programs that enjoy the CFA affiliation. This recognition also entitles the program to award up to two (2) CFA Student Scholarships to students or graduates each year.


The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants

Graduates of the program, from 2022 and onwards, have the opportunity to claim 7 exemptions from the total of 13 papers of ACCA.

Therefore, after they graduate and wishing to continue with the ACCA Qualification, will be left with 6 ACCA papers to complete.


The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales

Graduates of the program have the opportunity to claim 6 exemptions from the ICAEW qualification exams,

provided they get a minimum score of 6.0 in all the ICAEW accredited course-units of the MSc in ISFM. 


The Hellenic Shipbrokers Association (HSA)

The M.Sc. in ISFM students wishing to follow the weekly seminars of HSA are eligible for a special fee reduction. The M.Sc. in ISFM graduates are eligible for 21 exemptions from the (34 in total) seminar examinations required to obtain the “Shipbroking Gnosis Certificate” (S.G.C.).


The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS)

The M.Sc. in ISFM graduates are eligible for 3 exemptions from the ICS Professional Qualifying Examinations leading to ICS Membership. Therefore, only 4 out of the 7 course unit examinations must be successfully sat in order for M.Sc. in ISFM graduates to obtain the ICS Membership.
