Επίσκεψη Φοιτητών Τμήματος Στατιστικής στην ΕΛΣΤΑΤ

    On Monday, April 3rd, 2023, the students of the Department of Statistics, AUEB visited ELSTAT accompanied by Dr Alexandra Livada and Professor Ioannis Ntzoufras (Head of the Department). The visit was scheduled within the extra academic activities of the courses of “Official Statistics” and “Data Analysis”.

    AUEB-Stats students had the opportunity to learn about

    • the Greek Statistical System by Ms. Georgia Lytra (Advisor to the President of ELSTAT on Statistical Education issues)
    • matters of Official Statistics production by Ms. Karamihalakou (Head of the Directorate of Statistical Operations)
    • Sampling Methods by Georgios Lambropoulos (Department of Methodology and Nomenclature),
    • Specialized Statistical Surveys by Mr. Georgios Douros (Head of the Department of Special Household Statistics), Mr. K. Papandreou (Head of the Department of Energy and Environmental Statistics) and Mr. A. Stavropoulos (Head of the Department of Sectoral Statistics).
