Γεώργιος Καρύδης Καθηγητής, Διευθυντής και Επιστημονικός Υπεύθυνος του Π.Μ.Σ., Τμήμα Δ.Ε.Ο.Σ., Ο.Π.Α.

Ο Γιώργος Καρύδης είναι Καθηγητής Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαίου στο Τμήμα Διεθνών και Ευρωπαϊκών Οικονομικών Σπουδών (ΔΕΟΣ) του Οικονομικού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και κάτοχος Έδρας Jean Monnet. Είναι πτυχιούχος του Νομικού Τμήματος της Νομικής Σχολής Αθηνών (1985) και κάτοχος Διδακτορικού Διπλώματος (PhD), Universite De Paris I- Sorbonne, France (1991).

Έχει πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις σε έγκριτα Ελληνόγλωσσα και Ξενόγλωσσα Περιοδικά, σε θέματα Ευρωπαϊκού Οικονομικού, κυρίως, Δικαίου, και ειδικότερα σε θέματα Δικαίου Ανταγωνισμού και Κρατικών Ενισχύσεων. Έχει συγγράψει μονογραφίες και διδακτικά εγχειρίδια. Έχει επίσης συμμετοχή σε διεθνή Συνέδρια και σημαντικό και πολυσχιδές διδακτικό έργο στο Προπτυχιακό και Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών.

Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζουν στις ουσιαστικές και δικονομικές πτυχές του Ενωσιακού Δικαίου του Ανταγωνισμού και των κρατικών ενισχύσεων, στο Δίκαιο της εσωτερικής αγοράς και της ρύθμισης των αγορών, στις γενικές αρχές του ενωσιακού δικαίου και στη σχέση ενωσιακού και διεθνούς δικαίου.

Φοίβη Κουντούρη Καθητήτρια, Τμήμα Δ.Ε.Ο.Σ., Ο.Π.Α.

Professor Dr. Phoebe Koundouri holds a PhD (2000), MSc (1996) and MPhil (1995) in Economics from the University of Cambridge (UK). She is Professor in Economic and Econometric Theory and Applications (with special emphasis on Natural Resources, Energy and the Environment) at the School of Economics, Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece). She is also Founder and Scientific Director of the Research Laboratory: ReSEES: Research on Socio-Economic and Environmental Sustainability at the same University. 

She is a Visiting Professor at the Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy, London School of Economics (UK). She is an affiliated Professor at the ATHENA Research and Innovation Center, Greece, where she directs Climate KIC Greece (https://www.climate-kic.org/). Professor Phoebe Koundouri is also the the Scientific Chair of the International Center for Research on the Economy and the Environment (ICRE8, www.icre8,eu) and the co-chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Network - Greece (unsdsn.gr).

She is a highly cited academic author ranked in the top 1% of all female economists worldwide, ex-vice president of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, vice-chair of the European Forest Institute, editorial member of more than 25 scientific journals and has coordinated more than 100 research and policy projects worldwide.

Γεώργιος Οικονομίδης Καθηγητής, Τμήμα Δ.Ε.Ο.Σ., Ο.Π.Α.

George Economides is Professor of Economics in the Department of International and European Economic Studies, School of Economic Sciences, at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He was born in Athens in 1973. He holds a BSc in International and European Economic Studies from the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MSc in Economics from the University of York, UK, and a PhD in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business. His previous academic appointments include a position as Visiting Lecturer in Economics at the University of Cyprus from 2001 to 2002. He is also a Research Fellow at CESifo in Munich and at the Interdisciplinary Climate Change Impacts Study Committee (CCISC) of the Bank of Greece.

His main research fields are macroeconomic theory and policy. In recent years, his research has focused primarily on the use of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models to study public-sector reforms and the implications of climate change for economic policy design. He has published more than forty articles in international academic journals, including the European Economic Review, Review of Economic Dynamics, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Economica, Journal of Public Economic Theory, Oxford Economic Papers, Public Choice, International Tax and Public Finance, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Journal of Macroeconomics, European Journal of Political Economy, and CESifo Economic Studies. He has also co-authored three books, including The Economics of Climate Change and A Blueprint for Exiting the Crisis: A New Model of Production for Greece.

He has presented his research at numerous international conferences and has served as a referee for many international academic journals. He is currently an Associate Editor of Environment and Development Economics, published by Cambridge University Press in association with the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. He has also served as Guest Editor of the European Journal of Political Economy on two occasions and of CESifo Economic Studies.

Λάμπρος Πεχλιβάνος Επίκουρος Καθηγητής, Τμήμα Δ.Ε.Ο.Σ., Ο.Π.Α. 

Lambros Pechlivanos is an Assistant Professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of International and European Economic Studies. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an M.A. in Political Economy and a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University. He is Director of the Ph.D. program in International and European Economic Studies at AUEB.

Before joining AUEB he was a Marie Curie Fellow and Research Associate (Chargé de Recherche) at Institut d’Economie Industrielle (IDEI) in Toulouse, France, as well as a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE).

His research has been presented in several conferences and appears in various economic journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Labor Economics, European Journal of Operations Research, etc. His research interests include economics of information and organization, contract theory, industrial organization, market regulation and liberalization, corporate finance and public finance.

Κώστας Ρουμανιάς Καθηγητής, Τμήμα Δ.Ε.Ο.Σ., Ο.Π.Α.

Costas Roumanias is an Assistant Professor at Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of International and European Economics Studies. He holds a BA in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an M.Phil and a D.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford.

He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Microeconomics, Mathematics, and Political Economics. His research interests include theoretical and applied models of political behaviour, particularly voting, behavioural economics and political extremism.
