EU Negotiation Simulation+ | 3rd Edition
On Saturday, November 22, the first part of the EU Negotiation Simulation+ event will take place, co-organized by the MSc in International Negotiations, Master’s Programs – Department of International and European Economic Studies (AUEB), the Mercury Negotiation Academy (MNA), and the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP)
The event is held within the framework of the course “Negotiation Analysis and the Negotiation Environment”, taught by Professor Spyros Blavoukos, Chair of the Department of International and European Economic Studies.
This initiative forms part of the European project “Enhancing Public Awareness and Civic Engagement in the EU – EPACE-EU”, co-funded by the European Union and ELIAMEP.
Hosted at the welcoming facilities of NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI – EODID Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization, the event will take the form of a competitive negotiation simulation, featuring two rounds — a trilateral and a five-party negotiation — based on real-world EU policy challenges.
Within this dynamic negotiation framework, 60 participants from the MSc in International Negotiations and the MNA Society will have the opportunity to experience the complexity of international negotiations involving European institutions and to further enhance their practical negotiation skills.
Stay tuned for Part II, which will take place on Friday, November 28, in the form of a Council of the EU Simulation (Trade Ministers) at the AUEB Postgraduate Programs premises (47A Evelpidon St.), as part of the course “International Economic Relations and Economic Diplomacy” taught by Mr. Giorgos Papagiannis.
